William Fabian Ph.D. was awarded his doctorate in Biological Psychology in 1982 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and continued on to complete 3 years of training in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University and the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was on the full time faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at the George Washington University Medical Center for 11 years where he developed and ran the Panic and Anxiety Disorder clinic. He also created the Center for Mind/Body Integration within the Department of Psychology where he is a Clinical Associate Professor. Dr. Fabian was on the founding Board of Directors of Robert Research Institute, a foundation with the mission of providing natural techniques to optimize brain chemistry. Currently, Dr. Fabian is in private practice and provides consultation to the Center for Integrative Medicine where he takes a Cognitive/Behavioral approach to the treatment of Anxiety Disorders.
